HercuWall®

In the construction industry many are familiar with Insulating Concrete Forms (or ICF Systems) which were popularized in the 1990s and use foam blocks that are stacked up to form the walls of a home or building and then filled with concrete. When properly executed, these ICF structures are high quality, high strength and energy efficient. The downside, however is that they require highly skilled contractors and labor -- typically taking longer to complete jobs and thereby adding to the cost of construction.

HercuWall® is similar in concept to ICF technology in that it uses foam forms and concrete -- but it has advanced into a patented panelized system which also uses steel. It improves upon the high quality and energy efficient end product and can be installed much faster with lower-skilled labor.

HercuWall® panelized home installations consist of corner panels, straight panels, door panels and window panels all precisely produced on computer controlled fabrication equipment matching the architectural plans for a home. These panels are sent to a homesite as a “kit” which when set in place form the wall of the home. The advantage to the homeowner is that HercuWall® speeds up the building process and therefore saves significant labor costs. A typical single-family home with HercuWall® installation takes two days.
