Steel reinforced concrete is the timeless strength within the HercuWall® building system. This patented insulating concrete form is engineered to be of superior strength and durability. From the initial pour to whatever time and nature can throw at it, HercuWall® performs like no other building system can. The resulting structure is a series of closely spaced steel reinforced concrete columns with a tie beam at the bottom of the wall and a reinforced bond beam at the top of the wall all within the HercuWall® expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) panel. The patented design and engineering takes ICF construction to next level – more than a form for concrete, HercuWall® combines the attributes of solid EPS foam insulation - economical and high efficiency with a time proven quality of reinforced concrete to form a very strong reinforced concrete building envelope that complies with all building codes and is highly energy efficient. Compared to wood, concrete is far superior in strength and durability. |

Faster
HercuWall® reduces building construction time dramatically by combining four building steps into one easy solution. With the large pre-engineered panels designed specifically for your home the walls are simply installed in numerical order. All window and door openings are in place with no on-site cutting or modification of the HercuWall® panels required. HercuWall® is manufactured in up to 4’ standard widths and wall heights to 12’ tall. A typical 2,000 sq. ft. home requires only 45 to 50 panels and can be installed by a crew of four in one or two days. Conversely standard block ICF systems would require hundreds of separate pieces and typically take weeks to install. Wood is cheap, but is only the first step. Insulation needs to be installed and sheathing and vapor barriers. All of these steps need to be properly completed and could be replaced in one step by HercuWall®. What’s more 2x4” wood only provides a drafty R-13 insulation envelope rather than HercuWall’s® R-30 with no drafts. |

Smarter
The genius of HercuWall® is its patented design that creates a highly efficient building system never before on the market. The uniquely designed forms themselves reduce the amount of concrete used by approximately 50% compared with other ICF block systems, but with no compromise in strength as proven by independent engineering. Upon completion the forms stay in place and act as external vapor barriers and insulation of the building envelope -- an environmentally friendly cocoon. Metal furring strips on both sides act as anchor points for exterior and interior finishes. |

No Guessing. No Problems.
Additionally, integral hardware ensures that rebar is placed securely and positioned correctly every time with minimal effort. There is no guessing, no problems. Full height metal furring strips which are spaced on 24” centers on each side of the panels serve as fastening points for interior drywall and exterior surfaces which can be stucco, brick, stone or siding finishes.
